2017/11 Lincs Cricket trio attempt to break Guinness World Record Cricket Marathon by playing for 72 hours

Dave Newman, Richard Wells and Shaun Brown are aiming to break a 52hr long world record cricket marathon in aid of The Lincolnshire And Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.

Three years ago Dave and Richard achieved the then world record of 48 hours of continuous netting, raising over £16k for brain tumour research at the time. The current world record stands at 52 hours. This time around, the friends have recruited Sean and are aiming for a massive 72hrs of netting, hoping to raise £20k for The Lincolnshire And Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust in the process.

The challenge starts at 9am Thursday 23rd November 2017 and will end 3pm Sunday 26th November 2017 at Northgate Sports Hall, Mill Field Terrace, Sleaford, Lincs.
