The Newark Half Marathon is back!
The 2017 Nottinghamshire County Championship Race will be held on Sunday 13th August. Can you run the Newark Half Marathon and raise money for our partner Beaumond House, a much-valued community hospice in Newark-on-Trent?
Now officially titled “The Eden Hall Spa Newark Half Marathon”, it’s back as a new, fast, family flat and scenic summer race. It starts and finishes at Sconce Hills Park, Newark.
The Fun Run
This run is for all the family, young and old. It’s only £5 (plus registration fee) to enter. All proceeds will benefit Beaumond House. All finishers will receive a medal. The run is a ‘Run England’ accredited race route of 2 kilometres around the periphery of Sconce and Devon Park. It is strictly limited to 150 runners, with marshals and spectators supporting all the way. It will be run under the same regulations as the weekly ‘parkrun’ race but is only 2k long. The start time is 10.30am.
